What to Expect

Paso Petcare is happy to welcome our valued clients back into our facility. We appreciate your continued support as we return to serving your veterinary needs in person. Below is more on what you can expect when visiting Paso Petcare.

Appointments

We are currently welcoming clients back into our building. Once you are checked in by our reception team, a technician will bring you and your pet back into one of our exam rooms. The technician or doctor will be able to answer any questions you have during the appointment. They will also go over the best courses of action for evaluation, diagnostics and treatment as applicable.

Appointments are made ahead of time, and clients are able to request their doctor of choice when scheduling their appointment.

We request a minimum notice of a full business day to change or cancel an appointment, and two full business days to change or cancel a scheduled anesthetic or surgical procedure.

Depending on the treatment or type of care we are providing for your pet, you may be asked to drop off your pet and will be given a pick-up time.

Check out and Billing

We accept cash, Care Credit, debit card, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Clients can make their payments with our reception staff before leaving their appointment.

See our hospital policies for more information on estimates, pet insurance and Care Credit.

Food and Prescription Pick-Up

Clients are welcome to come inside to pick up food and prescriptions. Please call in advance so we can ensure the items you are requesting will be ready for you upon your arrival.

Prescriptions will be filled through our in-house pharmacy for your convenience. In cases where more specialized medications are required, a written script will be made to be filled through an outside pharmacy. We ask that clients request prescription refills 24-48 hours in advance to ensure the medication is available when they come to pick up.

Pets must be up to date with their annual wellness exam, in addition to being seen by one of our doctors for the specific condition the prescription is treating.
